SATURDAY: Udall to Recognize Collaborative Efforts in Pitkin County to Fight Bark Beetle Epidemic on Smuggler Mountain
 
Local groups add U.S. Forest Service to coalition addressing bark beetle outbreak

What: Senator Udall will join local groups fighting the bark beetle epidemic.
 
When: Saturday, July 24, 2010, 4:00 p.m. MDT
                  
Where: Smuggler Mountain Trail Platform Area, near downtown Aspen, Pitkin County

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Smuggler Mountain forestry work will continue, though no more closures will occur. Users should expect minor delays along roads and trails for the next 2-3 weeks due to heavy equipment work.
